Grand Teton National Park 2

(9/7-9/9 continued) More mountain scenery.

Across Jenny Lake we see Cascade Canyon, which was carved by the glaciers that created the lake and the hills around it.

Mount Moran is the highest mountain (12,605 feet) on the right side of the range, as viewed from the valley.

The tops of several peaks extend well above the tree line.

The range affords fine views of high, glacially carved valleys.
